These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and CastLens governing your use of the CastLens app and website (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use CastLens. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the self-tapes, photos, and other content you submit (“User Content”). You grant CastLens a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, and display your User Content solely to operate and provide the Service (for example, delivering your tape to a casting professional you submit to).

You represent that you have the rights to the User Content you submit and that it does not infringe the rights of others.

4. Acceptable use & zero tolerance for objectionable content

CastLens has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You agree not to submit, post, or transmit any content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise objectionable, and not to harass, threaten, or abuse other users.

We provide tools to report objectionable content and to block abusive users. We review reports and will remove violating content and may suspend or terminate offending accounts, typically within 24 hours of becoming aware of a violation. We may remove content or terminate accounts at our discretion to keep the community safe.

5. Feedback disclaimer

Feedback and critiques on CastLens reflect the personal opinions of reviewers and are not guarantees of casting, representation, employment, or any outcome. CastLens does not guarantee responses, opportunities, or results.

6. Prohibited activity

• Reverse engineering, scraping, or interfering with the Service.
• Impersonating others or misrepresenting your affiliation.
• Using the Service to violate any law or third-party right.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CastLens is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
